Private Markets

Private Equity

Private company opportunities across growth, late-stage and selected pre-IPO situations.

Overview

Private Equity opportunities

Private equity provides access to privately held businesses before they reach public markets or broader institutional distribution.

Opportunities differ widely in stage, structure, information available and time horizon. Where an investor's criteria point to private companies, we review relevant situations and, where there is alignment, introduce the investor directly to the company or the party arranging the transaction.

Types of opportunity we may introduce

Availability varies. Not every category below is available at any given time.

  • Growth opportunities

Established businesses raising capital to expand operations, products or markets.

  • Late-stage opportunities

More mature private companies with an operating history and existing investor base.

  • Selected pre-IPO situations

Companies that may be preparing for a public listing or another liquidity event at some point in the future.

  • Secondary situations

Transactions in which existing shareholders sell part of their holding to new investors.

Within private equity

Pre-IPO opportunities

Pre-IPO is a type of situation within private equity rather than a separate asset class. It refers to investing in a private company at a point where a future listing is one possible outcome.

A listing may be delayed, restructured, priced differently than expected, or never take place. Shares are usually subject to transfer restrictions and lock-up periods, and there may be no way to sell a holding in the meantime.

No pre-IPO opportunity should be assumed to outperform public markets or to result in a listing. Each situation must be assessed on its own terms.

Opportunities are presented privately.

Specific opportunities are not published on this website. Access follows the investor access process.

Private company investments are illiquid, may be difficult or impossible to sell, and can result in the total loss of capital. Valuations are uncertain, information is limited compared with public companies, further funding rounds may dilute holdings and there is no certainty of any exit.
